(Chroniqué sur alias.erdorin.org) Favorite track: The Inner Path - Episode 03 - Those Mountains I Wouldn't Move.

Walking : The first step is the only one that matters In a chain reaction the path is yours But don't fool yourself it will change you too... anyway Ego sum via Ego sum veritas Ego sum vita The first step the very first one x 3 It's a real story you will write with this path Imagine it and it's wainting for you Arriving safe and sound is the main thing Walk at your pace all in all your sole vehicle is yourself This is where lies your freedom You depend on no one except yourself And that's the reason why... I decided to take this trail Freed from my life's boundaries Walking has set a distance Between them and me I've gone through many towns Megalopolis and deserts Elderly but not tired The journey is still there Ready to embrace me But I never gave in to the glorious smokes of the machines This is where lies my freedom I depend on no one except myself And that's the reason why... I decided to take this trail Freed from my life's boundaries Walking has set a distance Between them and me I'm now my own vehicle contempling the road of life Walking has set a distance Between them and I As far as I remember I moved on As far as I remember... Walking gave a sense to my life Walking ended all the fights Walking x 2 The first step The only one that matters But don't fool yourself Don't fool yourself Ego sum via Ego sum veritas Ego sum vita Now that we started to go this way you who flee and don't run anymore Don't stop walking and follow me You decided to take this trail Freed from your life's boundaries Walking won't set a distance Between you and me We're now our own vehicles contempling the road of life Walking won't set a distance Between you and I...

***SCRIPT*** OLD WALKER : ʺI had my reasons to leave. Years have worn my body out, that’s for sure, but they wore my soul out too. Why should I have borne this ordeal? These images and voices, pouring constantly, have made me bored. Little and great stories of this world don’t mean anything to me now. I don’t really care of what can and will happen to my likes. May some chose to hate universally, I decided to ignore, to refrain and to search for detachment. Leave the world in silence, forget about its clamor and get rid of these pernicious links, crawling in my head. Some would say it is comfort or cowardice. To me, freedom is the only key. Freedom of thought, freedom of saying nothing and to stop anything which could hurt me more. No mischief at all. I’m withdrawing from the global debate, only looking for a possible serenity I lost a long time ago. I leave hate to the ones who like to play with it. I leave war consequences to the soldiers. I let flag holders rise them as high as they want to. I’m far from all this, while wolves howl along the way. Whenever mediocre or brilliant, the enacted opinions from my peers don’t mean that much to me. They have no effect on me. I ignore them. I don’t love neither hate anymore. I’m taking a break that will cease at the end of the path. Silence, yes, silence and the end of my deliberate servitude. Hatred is no more than a distant rumor.ʺ

War... I had my reasons to leave Years had used my body Why should I... How could I... Why should I've borne this ordeal Images... And voices... Constant images... Constant pouring voices War... Stories of a dying world I want to avoid, to erase, to forget War... Stories of a dying world I want to avoid, to erase, to forget Freedom is the only key Freedom of thought, freedom of silence Withdrawn from all debates I flee universal hate Images... See, hear, speak no evil And voices... Constant images... Constant pouring voices War... Stories of a dying world I want to avoid, to erase, to forget War... Stories of a dying world I want to avoid, to erase, to forget "Wise old owl lived in an oak. The more he saw the less he spoke." Wolves may howl along the way Flag holders rise their banners They won't crawl into my head I am leaving them in peace I don't love neither hate anymore Forget about the world's clamour Hatred is no more than a distant rumour Images... And voices... Constant images... Constant pouring voices War... Stories of a dying world I want to avoid, to erase, to forget War... Stories of a dying world I want to avoid, to erase, to forget Hear nothing See nothing To avoid, to erase, to forget

A massive horizon was rising up to me Through the mist Neither inviting, nor threatening A colossal obviousness... And presence... crushing me No need to pity myself No need to recriminate Useless prayers to gods One step after another I couldn’t fade the mountains out They wouldn’t fall down by themselves Eternal and majestic, they were reigning They were reigning The obstacle was lying there And no one, nothing could make it move Why should I have give it up? Why should I have sat there? Blood and tears and big despair Accepting defeat, I knew I could face storms No need to pity myself No need to recriminate Useless prayers to gods One step after another I couldn’t fade the mountains out They wouldn’t fall down by themselves Eternal and majestic... I couldn’t fade the mountains out They wouldn’t fall down by themselves Eternal and majestic They were reigning Bow down and never stop Rely on this threshold Walk the line before abandonment Step by step Pain after pain Tear after tear I couldn’t fade the mountains out But I could still climb as well Eternal and majestic... I couldn’t fade the mountains out But I could still climb as well Eternal and majestic, they were reigning They were reigning I'll never fade the mountains out They'll never fall down by themselves Eternal and majestic, they're still reigning I'll never fade the mountains out They'll never fall down by themselves Eternal and majestic, they keep reigning Caradhras!
